Qualifications

- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience developing and deploying large language models using frameworks like GPT-3, BERT, RoBERTa, T5, etc.
- Strong knowledge of deep learning, transformer architectures, federated learning, few-shot learning, and prompt engineering
- Expertise programming in Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience deploying and optimizing ML models for production
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

- Research and develop state-of-the-art language models and NLP techniques for our AI investment assistant
- Architect and optimize the LLM pipeline to generate high-quality, accurate and compliant investment advice
- Evolve prompts and fine-tune models using reinforcement learning to align outputs with business goals
- Collaborate with product, engineering and compliance teams to integrate LLMs into the SaaS product
- Implement testing, monitoring and continuous improvement of language models in production
- Stay up-to-date on the latest LLM and NLP advancements and conduct applied research

Preferred Qualifications

- PhD degree with research experience in large language models and NLP
- Familiarity with SEC and FINRA regulations related to investment advice
- Experience with knowledge distillation and compressing large models for more efficient inference
- Contributions to open-source ML/NLP projects or research publications at conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, EMNLP, etc.
